Shipping Policy

These shipping terms apply to orders placed on our website for delivery within the United Kingdom. By placing an order with Le Philippe, you agree to the following shipping terms and conditions.

Processing & Handling Time

  • Order Cut-off Time: Orders received by 5:00 pm (local UK time) on business days (Monday–Friday) will begin processing on the same day. Orders placed after that time, or on weekends/bank holidays, will begin processing on the next business day.
  • Handling Time: We typically process and prepare all orders for dispatch within 1–3 working days. This is the time we need to verify your order, ensure quality control, and package the products.
  • Shipping Duration: Once dispatched, shipments to UK addresses usually take about 4–8 working days in transit. Please note that delivery times are estimates and count only business days (Monday–Friday). The delivery countdown begins from the date of dispatch, not the date of order placement.

Note: During periods of high order volume or due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. carrier delays, customs processing for international parcels, or adverse weather), dispatch or delivery may be slightly delayed. We appreciate your patience in these cases.

Delivery

We partner with reliable courier and postal services to ensure that your order is delivered safely and in a timely manner. Once your package has been shipped, it is in the care of the courier. Le Philippe is not liable for any delivery delays or failures caused by the courier service, but we will do our best to assist you in resolving any issues that arise during shipment (such as delayed tracking updates or misrouted packages).

Shipping Costs

We are pleased to offer free standard shipping within the UK on all orders. The price you see at checkout is the final price for your order (excluding any potential import fees; see Taxes & Duties below), and you will not be charged additional shipping costs for UK deliveries.

Address Changes

If you need to change the delivery address for your order, please contact us as soon as possible (and within 24 hours of placing your order) at info@le-philippe.co.uk We will do our best to update the address before your order ships. However, if the order has already been processed or dispatched, we will not be able to change the address. Le Philippe is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

Order Tracking

As soon as your order is dispatched, we will send you a shipping confirmation email. This email will contain a tracking number or link that you can use to follow the progress of your delivery. You can click the link or enter the tracking number on the courier’s tracking website to get real-time updates on your shipment status. If you have any trouble with tracking or did not receive a tracking email, please contact us for assistance.

Incorrect Address

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a correct and complete shipping address. Please double-check your address details (including postcode and house number, if applicable) before finalizing your order. If a package cannot be delivered because of an incorrect or incomplete address, it will typically be returned to us by the courier:

  • If we receive a package back due to an addressing error or because it was unclaimed by you, we will reach out via email. We can resend the package to a corrected address, but please note that you will be responsible for the additional shipping cost to resend the order if the error was not made by us.
  • If you prefer to cancel the order instead of re-shipment, we can refund your original purchase amount minus any shipping fees and return handling fees that we were charged by the courier for the failed delivery. We will provide proof/confirmation of those charges if applicable.

Order Cancellations

You may request a cancellation of your order before it has been dispatched (see our Order Cancellation policy in the Return & Refund section above). If your order has already been shipped out, we cannot cancel it while in transit. In that case, you may treat the delivery as a return and send the item back to us for a refund (within the 14-day return period).

Damaged or Opened Packages

  • If your parcel arrives with visible damage to the packaging, please refuse the delivery. Inform the courier that you are rejecting the package due to damage and contact us immediately at info@le-philippe.co.uk. We will arrange for a solution (such as a replacement or refund) once the damaged parcel is confirmed and on its way back to us.
  • If you discover that a product is damaged after you’ve already accepted the delivery (for example, you open the box and find an item broken), please email our customer service right away with photos of the damage. We will then provide further instructions and work with you to resolve the issue (by sending a replacement, offering a repair, or issuing a refund, as appropriate).

Taxes & Duties

All prices on our website are listed in British Pounds (GBP) and, for UK orders, include UK VAT (Value Added Tax) where applicable. We do not add any hidden taxes or fees to your purchase at checkout.
However, please be aware that orders are shipped from outside the UK. This means your order may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or handling fees when entering the UK, depending on the value and contents of the shipment:

  • Any such import charges are the responsibility of the customer (you). These fees are typically collected by the courier on behalf of HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) at or before the time of delivery.
  • Le Philippe has no control over these charges and cannot predict their exact amount, as customs policies and import duties vary widely. You may want to consult the UK government’s customs information or contact your local customs office for details on potential charges.
  • If import duties or VAT are charged and you fail to pay them, the package may be held by the courier or returned to us. If the package is returned or abandoned due to non-payment of import fees, we may not be able to refund the full order amount (any return shipping fees or abandonment fees will be deducted from your refund). We strongly encourage customers to be aware of their country’s import rules to avoid such issues.

Aside from any import-related fees that are beyond our control, we will not charge you any additional fees beyond the total amount shown at checkout.
